Reflections

High above a mountain top,
Beneath a clear blue sky,
I sit and think about my life,
And watch the birds fly by.

I gaze around in wonder,
At the beauty of the earth,
How I'm blessed to be here,
So grateful for my birth.

I think about my struggles
When life was going wrong,
But then I thank my God,
He made me big and strong.

I thank Him for the blessings
He's bestowed along the way,
And thank Him for the love,
He's shown me each new day.

As I bask in His protection,
I do my best to spread His word,
And if I touch one other soul
I know His voice was heard.

Love's Philosophy

The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever,
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In one another's being mingle~~~~
Why not I with thine?
See! the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower would be forgiven
If it disdained it's brother;
And the sunlight clasp the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea~~~
What are all these kissing worth,
If thou kiss not me?

You Are My One and Only Love

I enjoy watching a cool breeze
Blowing your hair over your eyes
Because when you peek up at me
My heart flutters like butterflies.

I love you with all of my heart
You have made my life complete
All my life to you I always will be true
Is a promise I will faithfully keep.

From the very first moment I saw you
I knew you were the one for me
There was no doubt in my mind
And there will never be.

You are my one and only love.

The Fragrance
of The Lord

The Beauty of The Lord's Love,
Is as the fragrance of a rose,
Flowery with bloom in full sweetness,
Timeless, but eternal perfection in bouquet.

The pure sweetness of our Lord's Love,
Is the perfection of His fragrance,
Life's love story of the One,
Whose Life is humbly Given.

To see that Rose of Regal Beauty,
Is to seek and touch the Face of God,
Within that reach of faith and hope,
Is the full aroma of His Love.

Life's love story is such Beauty,
Of the Love of our Lord,
So freely given in sweetness to all,
The Fragrance of the Lord.

The Gift of Friendship

Friendship is a Gift from God above,
Filling our hearts with the tenderness of a Dove.
Sharing our lives with one another,
Counting on that Friend like no other.

They come to us in many different forms,
Ready to be there to calm the storms.
A true Friend will never leave your heart,
Even if the miles keep you apart.

The loneliness seems to disappear,
Whenever our Friends lend their ear.
Each of them special in their own way,
A treasure to find each and every day.

Be good to your Friends whomever they are,
For they need your Smiles to carry them far.
Partake of this Gift that has been given to you,
For everyone needs a Friend like you.

His Back Yard

As I walk down nature's trail,
I love all that I see.
I love the sky, the rocks and brush,
I love the fallen tree.

For all these things are Father's gifts,
He formed them each you see.
He formed them all to beautify,
This world for you and me.

I see the lakes and rivers too,
I love the trees so green.
They all are food to feed my soul,
They make my life serene.

One day I hope to live out here,
In Father's own back yard.
I'll work and share my thoughts with Him,
For me that won't be hard.

A Dusty Road

I dreamed I walked with Jesus,
Along a dusty road.
And as we walked together,
He told me stories of old.

He spoke to me of the leper,
Who He had cleansed and made whole,
And of the woman at the well,
Whose life He did unfold.

He told me of a little girl,
Who all had thought was dead.
How He went to her and touched her,
How He gave her life instead.

And then He told me of the Cross,
That seemed so heavy to bear.
But then He smiled at me,
And I knew I was in His care.

And then when I awoke,
I thought of my Savior sweet.
Glancing down, I peer,
Is that dust upon my feet?

Heal The Inner Man

Lord, I want to be a witness,
You are my very best friend.
Lord, I love you truly;
Our paths to never end.

Send a revival,
Touching souls within.
Open hearts to worship,
Sing, 'till battles you win.

Come with your Spirit.
Heal the inner man.
Let us rejoice together,
And love you once again
