My Darling Valentine

My Darling Valentine, I love you,
Sweetness I hold in my heart,
Only for you, if you will have me,
Be my Valentine to start.

Love and roses fill my whole being,
A lovely bouquet to be,
The beauty of sweet love sent from God,
Yes, you were just made for me.

My Darling Valentine, Be Mine Soon,
You'll cherish my love Oh I promise,
My heart's fragrant and flowers for you,
Roses with dew and my kiss.

Sweetness will peak with each other's love,
Be My Valentine and see,
Our hearts laced together into one,
Love and roses are to be.

Valentine’s Love

A heart shaped box of candy,
Flowers delicately displayed,
Loving thoughts sweetly spoken,
Leave me absolutely amazed.

Throughout the years together,
Our lives have become as one,
Our precious love has entwined,
As threads when they are spun.

We often know the other’s thoughts,
Before aloud they are spoken,
Our love is deep within our hearts,
Not just an appearance token.

Many special Valentine days,
Uniquely placed in ours hearts,
Carry sweet loving memories,
Joined minds can sweetly impart.

Valentine's Day With Jesus

Jesus does not send perfume
To linger in the air
Instead He sends salvation, sweet
To show how much He cares

He doesn’t bring me candy hearts
In boxes of delight
Instead He always lets me know
I’m precious in His sight.

He doesn’t pass out pretty cards
Trimmed in shades of red
Instead He gave His life for me
His precious blood was shed.

He doesn’t hand out fancy gifts
Like we would send to mother
Instead He sends a message clear
To always love each other.

He doesn’t give me teddy bears
That whimper, “please be mine”
Instead He gave His heart to me
I wear it all the time.

He doesn’t give me roses, pink
For all the world to see
Instead He gave eternal life
That’s good enough for me!

To My Wife

What can I say or do my dear
to show my love for you?
What will it take for me to make
your dreams of joy come true?

I would gather up the stars at night,
the moon in brilliant hue,
the silver coated clouds in sight..
and give them all to you.

If I could give you all the world
'twould be a small amount,
for years of splendor you unfurl,
is more than I can count.

You stood by me in thick and thin,
and always at my side.
My love for you will never end,
just like the ocean's tide.

We're like two peas that's in a pod,
right from the very start,
we came together under God,
and under Him depart!

Valentine

Will you be my Valentine?
Grace my lips like
fine red wine?

Kiss me fair as evening wanes
ignite the fire
in my veins.

Will you be my Valentine?
The one who comforts
with words sublime?

Caress my soul in fire light
release me from
my woeful plight.

Will you be my Valentine?
Holding my heart
as I call you mine?

Rejoice discovering unity;
holding me close
through our eternity.

Valentine Heart Box

A beautiful valentine heart box
Filled with chocolate filled candy
Sent from someone special
Who's heart is filled with love

Sweet light chocolate and dark
With sweet different mixtures of fillings
Some fillings are delicious
And some are not tasty at all

Just like the adventurous life
My love we have shared
Some of the adventure we shared
Were filled with great love and joy
While some adventures were hard to bare

So at this special time
Thank you for the good times
And thank you for helping me through the bad
But most of all my love

Thank you for the valentine heart box
Which you have filled
With all your marvelous love

Are you the one?

Should I ask you? Are you the one?
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes;

For I have looked into your eyes and found a friend—
And lost myself there in sweet heavens that only you and I can make.

Come with me now and let us find a place where we can live together
And spend our youth learning each other.
Tasting, smelling every secret spot—
--And laughing when it tickles.

And fly kites in the Summer Sun—
And drink of life’s every happiness.

And spend our days in search of all the things that make us smile.

So that if one day—far away from now—
We find ourselves old and tired alone at a table with little flowers

We will have but to close our eyes and hold one another—
To know there is no other place in all the world to be.

Two Hearts

Two hearts, two souls
Attached though apart
Each can feel
The other's heart

Two hearts, connected
Together, entwined
Beating in rhythm
One body, one mind

Two hearts, alone
Absence of fear
Two souls come closer
Draw the other near.

Two hearts, beating
Connected as one
Over miles of space
Under one sun.

Two hearts, acquainted
Easy to know
As though it was meant
For love to flow.

Two hearts, friends
Ever true
For I feel that
I've always known you.

Two hearts, forever
Written across each heart
The special love that
Each imparts

To My Valentine

You'll always be my Valentine,
As you have all through the years.
Together we have always shared,
Days of happiness and tears.

You could not offer more,
Than the love that you do give.
Precious love so sweet and true,
I'll cherish as long as I live.

You try to make each day for me,
As beautiful as can be.
Everyday my heart is filled,
With the love I hope you see.

There will never be another you,
So I keep you in my heart.
I hope you know my love for you,
From me will never part.
