TO MY CONSCIENCE

When I consider why I like to say
The names of Infinite energy the almighty
And why I can't resist my propensity
To sing and pronounce rhythm and array.
The names that I hear on the way
To subdue the ills and anxiety
And gear up my mental faculty
To make me worthy to sing and pray.
For beatitude that's produced by
The exalted sound that can purify
The dirty atmosphere, as solar ray.
Degerminate the air and nourishes
Inmates and causes happiness
Of utterer, who likes to be happy and gay?

""A Message of Love"

A mighty wind blew night and day
But it could not break the Love
in my heart,

I was standing as strong as ever.
I still held my ground while things
were falling down all around me.

The wind finally gave up and said,
How can you still be standing?"
I replied,

You can shake my limbs and make me sway
But the roots I have continue to grow stronger
In God and you will never touch them, you see,

They are the deepest part of me.Until today
I wasn't sure of just how much I could endure
Now thanks to you,

I have found that I am stronger than I ever knew
Before because i have the
Lord in my heart and soul.

So please, always remember you are stronger
Than any disappointment that life will ever bring
Because God lives in you.

I came to realize that on December 10, 2008 and
I know that my Lord will take care of me now
and forever.

Lord, I give you all the praise and glory for what
and where I am at this time in my life.
I thank you for my family .

But most of all I thank you for sending your son
To die on the cross so that I may have eternal life.
I have not always been the best Christain,

But Dear Jesus,I try to do what is right.I Pray that
I will someday join my son that you have already
Called to your Heavenly home.

A God Worth Serving

I asked the Lord to bless me.
Thankful, He does so more each day.
Inviting the Lord to hold my hand,
"Guide me toward victory," I'd pray.

Inspired to follow His lead
As He clears paths along the way,
I'll trust Him forever and always;
Even with storm clouds, black or gray.

Finding a God worth serving,
He's faithful, come whatever may,
And perfect in all that He does;
Forcing Satan to go away.

Taking journeys together,
A road that never leads astray;
Walking hand in hand, with the Lord
By my side, a comforting stay.

Serve the Lord with all your heart.
Fixed on Him, His heart He'll convey;
Finding life that merits living,
Blessings that continue to pay.

The Beginning
In the beginning,one Christmas eve
A son was born,on this nights eve
Born unto Mary,a newborn King
A star of great brightness, led the way
To a manger in Bethlehem,on straw he laid
Shepherds and Kings,come from afar
Bearing gifts and gold treasures
for the infant child
Angels voices echoed, from Heaven on high
In songs of blessings, for the Holy Child
A Saviour was born,on this blessed eve
He's the Son of the highest
Jesus is his name.

Where I'll Be

When day is at its' end,
And the suns crimson light,
Grows dimmer in the west,
And evening fades to night.

There comes a time of peaceful rest,
From the day of toil and care,
A soul needs refreshing,
To clear the mind and air.

Mourning not the day gone by,
With its' sunshine stored away,
My heart steals a quiet rest,
From the passions of the day.

Home is where my heart is,
Happiness there is the key,
With family gathered all around,
There is where I'll be.

The Night Before Christmas

T'was the night before Christmas
When there rose such a fuss.
With all these packages to wrap,
It was just 'way too much'.

Family was coming,
Food was a must,
And, with so many people,
It was either be ready or bust.

"Get up from the TV,
Get off your fat butt!
If you don't get movin',
You'll sleep with the mutt!"

"Kids, get back to bed!"
"Pitch the dog outdoors!
Get goin', buddy,
And sweep up the floor!"

~ * ~

T'was an annual event
And everyone knew
Voices would rise
As the tension grew.

Mom wasn't happy
And dad was mad.
And with all the noise,
It made the little ones sad.

Nope, Christmas wasn't merry.
It wasn't CHRISTmas at all,
In spite of painted faces
Once guests entered the hall.

What was the point
In all the pretense?
Could Santa and reindeer
Come to their defense?

~ * ~

Could packages and ribbons
Make a home of love?
Would settling for presents
Still be enough?

But, how could it be Christmas
Without the fuss;
Without all the presents,
Wrappings, and such?

Could Christmas come
Without exhaustion, just bliss?
And should we appreciate
Whose birthday it is?

And if at our front door,
Would we let Him in?
And would He know
The party's for Him?

~ * ~

I must admit I had been
Sort of selfish, myself;
In attempt to mend
My own inner self ...

Creating Christmases
To fulfill all my dreams,
Only for others to live;
Or so it does seem ...

Forgetting whose birthday
It really was
And even the joy
Of His tender touch.

And so ...
T'was the night before Christmas
When I changed all my plans,
To let the Christ-Child in
And place my heart in His hands.

I Remember Love

I remember love and all it is meant to be
I remember how I felt when you held on to me
I can hear every sigh somewhere deep inside my soul
I remember you, you are my dream come true

I remember love, how close to you I am
We had happy day, I remember us that way
We played hide and seek
I hid behind the trees
When you chase and we laughed
For we found we were in a flower patch

I love you and no other
For you are gentle, kind, and sweet
Let me kiss your wonderful lips
Now and forever, I will be yours
Yes, I remember love
Love is watching you
Our love is true

He tells me to stand up and be strong
He is coming back for me

Sweet peace and rest He will
leave with me
Rest my child it want be long
I will return to take you home.
Jesus tells Me he knows
every break in my heart,
every scar on my soul, every tear

made Me a rainbow to paint the sky.
He will speak to me through the wind and a song,
fill my heart with gladness, heal all wounds.
Send his mighty winds to wrap his arms

MERRY CHRISTMAS
by Anne R. C. Neale

The shepherds saw the bright star and stood in awe,
This was something they never saw before,
They knew the bright star shone above where Jesus lay,
He was born in a stable, so they say,
The shepherds traveled to Bethlehem that very night,
They wanted to behold Jesus so they went right to that site,
They saw a radiance of peace shining on His face,
He was smiling and looking at His Mother Mary in that place,
Some Kings were there with gifts of gold, myrrh and frankincense,
Everyone was so happy, everyone was intent
To see the Messiah, which they had been waiting for,
What a glorious time for everyone for sure,
The Prince of Peace had arrived on earth,
It was so magnificent, His humble birth,
I wish I could have seen it and been there you know
But each year I can celebrate His Birth Day , we all can, that's so,
So today I want to wish you a Merry Day of Christ to you,
Merry Christmas and may God bless you and yours and
everyone too.

The Joy of Christmas

In the wee small hours of Christmas morn,
While parents are in their bed sleeping,
In the dim light of the Christmas Tree,
Two shadowy forms are creeping.

Down the stair and across the room,
Quiet and hushed, anticipating,
Two little ones can barely wait,
To see what surprise is waiting.

Suddenly a burst of joy,
Faces light up with glee,
Wrapped up gifts and lots of toys,
Are there beneath the tree.

Excitement sparkles in sleepy eyes,
Each face is a sheer delight,
The air is magic on Christmas morn,
For Santa came last night.

The joy of Christmas comes once a year,
And my heart always embraces,
The Christmas spirit and all the joy,
It brings to little faces.

Softly

Softly as I watch you
I feel so much love
Heaven is near you
Like a whisper, above

Softly I see outside my window pane
A bird calling gently your name
I hold on to the memories I shared
As you slowly lie on a cloud, I do not know is there

Softly your spirit is given to God
With you I send all of my love
Butterflies are dancing on a moonbeam
I hear a Heavenly chorus
As angels come for your spirit
Remember family's of old taking hold of your hand
To help you to feel safe and understand

Softly all is silent, for you are going to meet Jesus
He will welcome you, eternity is truth
One day I will see you there
I give you one last hug as I watch your spirit go
Jesus and Mary will guide your soul

WHAT
by Anne R. C. Neale

What water is to a thirsty bird,
The Lord is to my soul,
What the sun is to the growing plants,
God is my savior, My All

What the leaves are to a live tree,
God is my strength too,
What the rising sun it to night's darkness
God's Radiance is to me and to you,

What a happy baby is to his parents,
God is my comfort and Joy to me,
What the beautiful colors are too everyone
God is my Guiding Light you see,

God is my Hope, my Faith,my Love,
God is the creator of my Soul,
God fills me with His life everlasting,
God to me is certainly my All.
